Funding is designed to move on standard rails — ACH for convenience, wire for speed and size — with cleared funds required before a transaction settles.
What matters in practice
- ACH — low friction; allow standard clearing time before funds are good.
- Wire — same-day availability, sender fees apply; use the exact instructions shown in your account, never instructions received by email.
- Good funds — private-market settlements are not reversible the way a card charge is, so cleared funds are a hard requirement, not a preference.
Never send funds to an account number given to you by phone or email — see report something wrong and the fraud-prevention library.
